Pittsburgh Theological Seminary was a two-phase renovation of 3 affordable housing apartment buildings. A total of 54 units were fully renovated including turning (10) units into fully accessible dwelling units.
Apartment modifications included new flooring and paint throughout, lighting, closet shelving, kitchen cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and fully renovated bathrooms.
New plumbing, mechanical, electrical and life safety systems were included in the design, as well as a new interior elevator shaft was erected allowing fully accessible access to the (10) ADA units.
A new ground up community room addition and an interior courtyard we built, acting as a central interior and exterior gathering place for the residents.
